Nikon 1 V1 Review

without comments

The Nikon 1 V1 is known for its very fast autofocusing, 10fps continuous shooting and Full HD video capabilities. The best in its class when these features are taken into account. The 10.1 Megapixels Nikon V1 with the 10-30mm (27-80mm equivalent) kit lens is priced around $849. I wrote this Nikon V1 review to evaluate for myself if I should rush out and lay my hand on this very handsome EVIL Nikon!

Canon Powershot G12

The Canon G12 is a prosumer compact digital camera launched in 2010. It is a 10 megapixels and has 5x zoom range from 28mm-140mm. It may not pack the most number of pixels and the widest zoom range but it offers other “Pro” features such as a faster lens (F2.8-F4.5), a larger sensor, fully articulated LCD and RAW format.

Lumix LX5 vs Canon S95

without comments

Ever since testing the Canon PowerShot 300 HS recently, I have started to take a new stance towards these low light compacts that are now becoming increasingly popular. Of course, I still secretly (or rather not so secretly) harbor the feeling that larger compacts cameras like the Canon G12 and Lumix LX3 would be much better.

Now with the LX3′s successor, the Panasonic LX5 available, I was eager to pit it to the test with the Canon PowerShot S95, which was also released very recently.
