Phototouille (read foto-too-ee) is a blog about photography tips, techniques and digital camera reviews. These camera reviews are based on my research on the internet and are personal opinions. I am not a professional photographer. I take pictures for fun and collect cameras.

My first camera was a Nikon FE with a Nikkor 50mm/f1.8 manual lens.

Since then I have owned and used the Nikon FA, Nikon F3, Canon EOS 50E, Minox GT-E, Olympus C-2100UZ, Olympus E-510, Olympus E-3, Olympus E-5, Panasonic LX3, Panasonic LX5, Olympus EP2, Olympus EPL2 and Panasonic GX1. Of all these cameras, the Minox GT-E was a disaster. To date, my favorite camera systems are the Nikon F3 and the Olympus E-5.

Nowadays, I mostly use the Panasonic GX1 because it is very compact, lightweight and easy to be carried with me all the time. With this camera, my favorite lens is the 20mm f/1.7 lens.
